Raymond Koskie (Retired)
Pension

Founding partner Ray Koskie has played an instrumental role in advancing the interests of labour and business throughout the development and promotion of new, more responsive and innovative government initiatives.

Ray served as lead counsel in a major successful case on pension plan surpluses against Dominion Stores Ltd. which set a precedent for future litigation in this area.

Ray was appointed by the Prime Minister of Canada as a member of the Economic Council of Canada and served from 1986 to 1989.

Ray published numerous papers on employee benefits, several of which were delivered at annual Canadian Conferences of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He was also a principal editor and contributor of the second edition of Employee Benefits in Canada.

After 40 years of practice Ray has retired from the practice of law but continues his activities as a government relations consultant. We wish him well in his future endeavours.
