A partner at Koskie Minsky, Larry Steinberg practises labour law, representing employees and trade unions before a number of tribunals including the Ontario and Canada Labour Relations Boards, arbitration boards, Human Rights Tribunals and the Courts. Prior to joining the firm in 1983, Larry was a professor at Dalhousie Law School (Halifax), his alma mater, for several years. Before this he served with the Ontario Ministry Of Labour as a policy advisor. Larry received his Masters Degree in Law from Harvard University. He has authored several articles for academic journals such as the Dalhousie Law journal, and has written and lectured on all aspects of labour and employment law for the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario, and at numerous seminars and conferences. During a three month sabbatical in 2003, Larry served as Special Counsel for Labour Relations to the Assembly of First Nations. Combining an impressive academic background with a finely honed practical sense, Larry is able to represent clients in a most effective manner. |
