Larry Banack is a highly motivated litigation specialist. Larry carries a diverse caseload that includes: commercial litigation involving real estate and construction issues; professionals' insurance and discipline claims; and mediation of client disputes. Larry is litigation counsel to a number of law firms, a variety of corporate and individual clients and is general advisor to various government funds and professional associations. A firm believer in Alternate Dispute Resolution, Larry is a member of the ADR Institute of Ontario, Inc. He is a roster mediator in Toronto, Ottawa and Windsor, as well as a member of the Toronto Local Mediation Committee. Larry is also an active member of the American Trial Lawyers' Association. Larry has been an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1995. In this capacity he has performed several crucial tasks at a time when the legal profession is undergoing significant change. He is currently Chair of the Law Foundation of Ontario. For three years Larry chaired a team that presented the Annual Institute of Continuing Education for the Ontario Bar Association. He continues to serve on the Association's governing council and has been chair of its civil litigation section. Larry also contributes to various publications. Larry demonstrates a seasoned expertise while dealing with numerous client intricacies and attending to their litigation needs with innovation and motivation.
