As a partner of the firm Jeffrey manages a dynamic practice in corporate commercial and construction litigation. While placing a strong emphasis on providing prompt, effective and efficient legal counsel, Jeffrey is always responsive to client needs and goals. He conducts an aggressive general corporate commercial litigation practice with a focus on Plaintiff's claims and injunctions. He has accumulated extensive experience in sophisticated trial advocacy, appeals, negotiations and dispute resolution relating to shareholder/partnership disputes, real estate and a multitude of complex corporate commercial matters. Jeffrey is also a leading member of Koskie Minsky's elite construction law group. In that role, he has represented numerous owners, builders, general contractors, banking institutions, subcontractors, trade unions and employee benefit trust funds as well as many of Ontario's largest builders. Jeffrey's experience includes carriage of major construction and related litigation disputes in all aspects of construction lien litigation. A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and practicing since 1992, Jeffrey has conducted seminars and spoken on various construction topics at the CBAO and other Construction industry events. As well, he has contributed to Commercial litigation journals and authored "Summary Judgment and Collection Procedures" found in the published text "Common Civil Applications in Ontario". Jeffrey is a long time member at large of the CBAO Construction Law Section and member of the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America. |
