Arleen Huggins is a partner of the firm practising within our litigation department. Arleen Huggins' expertise lies in employment law, professional negligence claims, commercial, mortgage and real estate litigation. Acting on behalf of both employers and employees, Arleen is sought after for her litigation skills and for providing opinions and mediating employment-related disputes. She has sound and knowledgeable experience drafting and reviewing employment contracts. In addition, Arleen has defended lawyers, real estate agents and other professionals. Her commercial, mortgage and real estate litigation practice includes both the resolution of disputes as well as litigating at various court levels, with a particular emphasis on beneficial ownership interests. Arleen has been a speaker for Ontario Bar Association and Law Society of Upper Canada Employment Law seminars. She has co-authored various topical articles and papers in her areas of expertise. A member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, Arleen has also worked with the Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) both as sub-committee member and co-counsel. Arleen is a solid legal practitioner who is well-respected by clients and legal counsel. |
