Founding partner Alan Minsky has practised extensively in the labour relations and broader employment fields for more than 30 years. He has appeared before various labour relations and employment law tribunals in Ontario and other provinces. Alan's clients primarily consist of trade unions and professional and employee associations. On several occasions, he has acted in areas unrelated to his practice. A gold medalist graduate from the Bar Admission Course, Alan lectures and writes on labour and employment law. He has co-chaired the Continuing Education Program on Labour Law for the Law Society of Upper Canada. Alan has also lectured in the area of employee benefits at the Canadian Conferences, of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans, and for other professional and continuing education groups. Alan has served as secretary, treasurer and chair of the Labour Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association Ontario. Well respected by clients and colleagues, Alan is thoughtful, thorough and creative. Through his involvement with associations related to his field of practice, Alan shares his experience and expertise with others. |
