This website has been developed by Koskie Minsky LLP
for the exclusive use of former employees of Bendix Heavy Vehicle Systems /
Garrett Canada whose employment were terminated in conjunction with the closure
of the company's London, Ontario facility and were affected by the
partial wind up of the AlliedSignal Canada Inc. Retirement Plan for Salaried
Employees (now the Honeywell ASCa Inc. Retirement Plan for Salaried Employees)
(Reg. No. 0222695), effective as at December 31, 1992.
We have developed this web site to provide general information on issues
affecting you in connection with the Company's proposal to distribute pension
surplus to eligible former employees. This site is not designed to answer
specific questions about individual situations or entitlements. The information
provided on these pages is not legal advice or a substitute thereof. The
contents of this site are subject to solicitor-client privilege and all rights
to that privilege are expressly claimed and not waived.
An information package was recently sent to 43 former employees of Bendix Heavy
Vehicle Systems / Garrett Canada who were affected by the 1992 partial wind-up
of the Honeywell ASCa Inc. Retirement Plan for Salaried Employees (the "Pension
Plan"). The material in the package describes a proposed distribution of
surplus funds from the Pension Plan. Members are being asked to consider the
Proposal described in the information package and to complete the
"Authorization and Retainer Form" included, which allows them to vote on the
Proposal. Please check the "YES" box to support the Proposal and retain
Koskie Minsky LLP, and return the form in the self-addressed,
stamped envelope provided.
A copy of the report included in the information package can be viewed by
