NON-EXECUTIVE RETIREE HEALTH BENEFITS
We submitted a claim on behalf of employees for the termination of retiree
health benefits. Please note this claim only applies to a specific population
of employees who retired on or before December 31, 1992. After 1992, Eaton's
did the following:

Eaton's cancelled retiree benefits from 1993 onward; and

It eliminated the semi-private coverage for the pre-1993 retirees but retained
the balance of coverage. The group who remained eligible for retiree health
benefits are referred to as the "grand-fathered" retirees.
This claim has now been settled and dividend cheques have been released to
eligible retirees.
