The BCE ONTARIO EMPLOYEES' PENSION SURPLUS COMMITTEE (the "Committee" formerly the REP Steering Committee) retained Koskie Minsky LLP in 1999, and has been in negotiations with BCE's legal counsel and the Company since April 2004. We are working toward a distribution of surplus assets. The parties are currently working out the ground rules for negotiating a settlement of any pension surplus distribution.
