This website is for the exclusive use of certain former employees of certain
BCE Inc. subsidiaries ("BCE" or the "Company") and certain former members of
the BCE Inc. Pension Plan (Reg. No. 0908061) (the "Pension Plan") who may be
entitled to share in a distribution of pension surplus arising out of partial
Plan wind ups that occurred in 1993, 1996 and 1999.
This web site has been developed by Koskie Minsky LLP
and is to provide general information on issues affecting you in connection
with the Company's proposal. This site is not designed to answer specific
questions about individual situations or entitlements. The information provided
on these pages is not legal advice nor a substitute therefore. The contents of
this site are subject to solicitor-client privilege and all rights to that
privilege are expressly claimed and not waived.
The BCE ONTARIO EMPLOYEES' PENSION SURPLUS COMMITTEE (the "Committee" formerly
the REP Steering Committee) retained Koskie Minsky LLP in 1999, and has been in
negotiations with BCE's legal counsel and the Company since April 2004. We are
working toward a distribution of surplus assets. The parties are currently
working out the ground rules for negotiating a settlement of any pension
surplus distribution.
For further background on this matter, please click on the tab "History" on the
left panel.
In March 2008 the Committee sent a communication to all former Ontario
employees affected by the partial wind-ups that took place in 1993, 1996 and
1999. For more information, and copies of the communication from the Committee,
please click on the tab "Committee Reports" on the left panel.
