Larry Banack

Larry Banack is a highly motivated dispute resolution specialist and is frequently an appointed mediator/arbitrator. Larry's diverse caseload includes litigation involving real estate and business issues, professionals' insurance and discipline claims. He is counsel to a number of law firms, a variety of corporate and individual clients, and is general advisor to various government funds and professional associations.
Larry has been an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1995, and regularly publishes Banack's Bencher News to keep the profession informed of matters arising in convocation. He served as Chair of the Law Foundation of Ontario for 7 years. For three years he chaired a team that presented the Annual Institute of Continuing Education for the Ontario Bar Association. He serves on the Association's governing council and has been Chair of its civil litigation section.
Larry demonstrates a seasoned expertise while dealing with client intricacies and attending to their needs with innovation and motivation. He is often called upon to provide second opinions and to mentor others in the profession.
