Jonathan Bida
Associate
Jonathan Bida is an associate in the litigation group at Koskie Minsky LLP. His practice focuses on civil litigation, primarily in the area of class proceedings. Jonathan has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario including the Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Koskie Minsky LLP, Jonathan was an associate at a commercial litigation boutique where his practice included a number of class proceedings. For instance, his role as part of the plaintiff’s counsel team in the Vioxx litigation involved several appeals before Ontario and Saskatchewan courts.
Jonathan has written articles on a broad array of topics including evidence, civil procedure and class actions. He is a member of the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
Jonathan articled as a law clerk at the Ontario Securities Commission. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University where he graduated on the Dean’s List as a Queen’s Law Bronze Scholar. Jonathan also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
