Graham Williamson
Partner
Graham Williamson restricts his practice to representing trade unions and workers in labour relations matters. He is the head of the Firm’s Labour Law Group.
Construction and industrial trade unions rely upon Graham's excellent skill as a negotiator and know that he will provide timely and practical advice in resolving complex problems. An accomplished advocate, Graham frequently appears on behalf of his clients before courts, administrative tribunals, arbitration boards and at the Ontario Labour Relations Board. He provides assistance and advice to unions during difficult strikes, and has successfully appeared in defence of applications to enjoin lawful picketing.
Graham has extensive experience representing both public sector and private sector trade unions in proceedings involving the acquisition and preservation of bargaining rights, unfair labour practice complaints, discipline and discharge and other grievances arising under collective agreements, as well as applications for judicial review in the Ontario Superior Court. Graham has a particular interest in worker safety and regularly represents trade unions and their members in Occupational Health & Safety and Workers' Compensation proceedings.
